Our Story

Blueprint Maps was founded in early 2009 with the concept that every cabin needs a map of the lake. As a registered architect I was well trained in creating pleasing images and drawings. As a lifelong Minnesotan, I grew up at the lake. Eventually, my artistic skills and passion for the lake came together in the form of decorative lake maps. The goal was to make maps that anyone would be proud to display in their home or cabin; with nice details and pleasing colors. As our collection of lakes grows and more and more people display our maps in their homes and cabins, it has become very rewarding to have these natural works of art become parts of people’s lives.
