Well, you wouldn’t know it by our lack of recent blog posts, but this has been a VERY busy spring for us here at Blueprint Maps. We have been developing new maps, attending trade shows, supporting Ellas Halo (www.ellashalo.org) with a donated map for a live auction event, creating maps of NE Minneapolis for a very deserving individuals (more on this in a future post) and most importantly, delivering many maps to our customers featuring their favorite lakes. Here is a list of 7 new lakes we have been able to add to our inventory so far in 2012:
(These lakes will be added to the online portfolio very soon)[unordered_list style=”green-dot”]
- Big Cormorant Lake
- Big Fish Lake
- Lake Traverse
- Lake Melissa
- Lake Sally
- Detroit Lake (shown below)
- Borden Lake[/unordered_list]
As saw in a past blog post, we also started making maps of larger sizes. We created two huge 6-Foot Wide Lake Minnetonka maps a few months ago, and also other bigger sized maps (which are approx 42″w x32″h) of various lakes such as Detroit, Melissa, Big Cormorant, and Lake Minnetonka. These larger sized maps are becoming very popular and we plan on creating a new page on the website describing the options for these larger maps in the near future. I will include a picture featuring the size difference below.
We have also been busy for another reason… in less than 7 weeks we will have a new little “map-maker” in the house. Along with maps and activities, Tammy has kept me busy assembling new furniture, moving the office and preparing the nursery for our little girl. We are very excited for her to arrive. (I hope to have her fishing with me by Labor Day!)
Lastly, we would like to say thank you to our customers for our success so far this year. It means so much to us to have our artwork on display in your lake homes and cabins. The cabin has been a special place for our family for many years now which is part of the reason we feel so fortunate that our maps can play a small part in making your lake place even more special. Thanks again for your business this spring!
